      Myrle Fletcher Miner departed peacefully from this earthly existence on Sunday, September 29, 1996, at home. She was wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She has left a tired body and returned home to her Heavenly Father and the loving embrace of her earthly parents and brothers and sisters.

      She was born on July 3, 1915, in Logan, Utah, to Calvin and Susette Ricks Fletcher. She was the third of six children born to Calvin and Zettie (Susette) and the fifth of 14 born to Calvin.

      She attended the Woodruff and Wilson Elementary Schools, Logan Jr. and Sr. High Schools. She attended Utah Agricultural College for two years. Myrle married her sweetheart Ellis Devere Miner on July 17, 1935, in the Logan LDS Temple. They had been married for 61 wonderful years at the time of her death. She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served in many capacities in the Primary, Relief Society, and Young Women organizations on both ward and stake levels. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and lived by its principles with devotion. She was a very talented artist and enjoyed sharing her artistic abilities with her family and many others. She was an active member of the Preston B. Nibley Camp of the D.U.P. for many years.

      She is survived by her husband, of Logan; two sons and two daughters, Ellis (Beverly) Devere Miner, Jr., of Lake View Terrace, Calif.; Mrs. Steven (Margaret) B. Nielsen, Clearfield; Paul (Karen) David Miner, Orlando, Florida; and Mrs. Michael (Karen) D. Braegger, Brigham City; 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.

      Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Joel Eugene Fletcher, St. George; Mrs. Bart (Susette) Ingram, Idaho Falls; Edith Fletcher Francis, Raymond, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. John (Margaret) Marshall, Mantua; Robert Waldron Fletcher, Ogden; Mrs. Woody (Beth) Snow, Deweyville; Joseph Lorenzo Fletcher, Riverton.

      Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3rd, at 12 noon at the Logan 7th Ward Chapel, 565 East 100 So. with Bishop Daniel Birschbach officiating. Friends may call at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan, on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday morning at the 7th Ward chapel from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment at the Logan City Cemetery.

      Myrle's family would like to give special thanks to the many nurses and aides of Creekside Home Health Care and to the members of the Logan 7th Ward for their many years of love and devoted service which they have to her.

      Sweetheart, Mom, and Grandma, you have been a solid rock in our life trials and we will miss your sweet presence greatly. We know you are ever near.
